Champagne Gosset the oldest wine house in Champagne Aÿ. 1584 produces its rosés by adding some of the finest Pinot Noir juice to the white grape juice to produce the rosé. In the case of Grand Rosé the balance is 35% Pinot Noir with 58% Chardonnay and the remaining 7% red wine made of Grand Cru Pinot Noir of the region from the local villages of Bouzy and Ambonnay.
Gosset champagnes are ‘recently disgorged' and the house does not undertake malolactic fermentation. This in turn preserves acidity which keeps the wine fresh for much longer.
